Thailand Rescue Robot Championship Project Outline
Origin |
Siam Cement Group (SCG), Thai Robotics Society and other University has cooperated to arrange Thailand Rescue Robot Championship Project in 2004 until now. |
Competition Description |
To invent the robot for rescue people in simulation situation such as fire, flood, earthquake or any disaster. The robot have to search for either survivor or dead person who still get stuck in the ruins. This competition is very challenging and useful for society. |
Objective |

To encourage the youth for creating the new innovation and developing the potential of rescue robot. |

To be a stage for youth to demonstrate their potential in rescue robot invention either in domestic or international competition. The champion in this competition will be the Thailand representative to compete in world robocup rescue competition. |

Support
1. SCG Supports all cost for competition including the prize which is total the prize which is total 640,000 baht:
- Champion 200,000 baht
- 2nd place 100,000 baht
- Best - In - Class Mobility 50,000 baht
- Best - In - Class Autonomy 50,000 baht
- Last 8 teams, 30,000 baht each team for improvement the robot.
2. SCG supports the champion to be the Thailand representative to compete in world robocup rescue competition including application cost, travel cost, residential cost, food and supportive money 100,000 baht for improvement the robot.
